Location:
The Loraine Club is located
on beautiful Georgian Bay, near Britt Ontario, approximately
300 kilometers (3+ hours) north of Toronto,
Canada. The Loraine is
on Wallbridge Island,
across the bay from the Gereaux
Island Lighthouse and Coast
Guard Summer
Station just off the small craft channel, near the mouth of Byng
Inlet. (Byng Inlet is actually an outlet of the Magnetewan
River flowing into Georgian
Bay, and is not to be confused with the Town of the same name
located just south of Britt.)
From Toronto, take Highway 400
north (that becomes Highway 69 south of Parry Sound) past Parry Sound to the
Britt turnoff (Hwy # 526), and proceed
through the small town to Wright's Marina,
for a 20 minute boat ride to the Loraine Club! The Loraine is also accessible
by water from the small craft channel (and from Florida!)

A new stretch of four lane highway between MacTier
and Highway 141 (26 km.) was finally completed in October, 2003! Once they
complete the remaining 8 km. portion from Musquash River to MacTier, Highways
400 and 69 will be 4-6 lanes from Toronto to Parry Sound.
